Happy 13 Years of Marriage!

April 2nd Mike and I drove to Tampa Bay downtown. He reserved us a room in the Marriott. Being that he is platinum member they automatically upgrade your room. Normally we'd get a king suite, but the only one available was 3rd floor which meant no view, so we got a double suite but Mike fixed that. (I don't think we have ever stayed in a hotel room without moving the furniture in some way.)
The balcony view was gorgeous and the weather mid 70's. We have never gotten a hotel downtown before. We prefer quiet beach hotels, so I was surprised Mike booked it. We will be back!! The hotel valet parks your car so we walked the river walk and found a wonderful lively outdoor mall. Not sure mall is the right word. It had 2 dinner theaters, comedy clubs, glow in the dark bowling, tons of restaurants and boutiques, Aquarium, museum, hockey arena, regular movie theater, dance clubs. And it being Tuesday night... Everything was closed.
Except the reg movie theater and some restaurants. Do not go downtown Mondays and Tuesdays.
We had sushi for an appetizer. Then in a bizarre read your mind way we decided to order hot wings at hooters. Picked them up and went back to our suite. We ordered The Watch on PPV. It was funny. We ordered a brownie room service. It was the flattest brownie we have ever seen! But it was good.
The day and night was wonderful.
