May has been the month of Boy Scout events.
Every year we have a Central Florida Pack event at
UCF arena. Every pack does some kind of activity.
Its alot of fun.
Our pack did a Tiger Throw.
Caleb took some professional golf lessons last month
The 3rd place had to be decided by a play-off, teams Brown, Pateas and Celi teed-off from the 9th hole but they remained tied so it was decided to play a putting contest to decide the winner; team Brown's junior player made the killer move by two-putting his turn. All other teams came close to tying but not close enough so team Brown was crowned the 3rd place winner.
The 2nd tournament he came in 2nd place.
For some reason very few parents signed up to
work it, so Zachary ended up 'working'
3 hours. He didn't mind a bit and really enjoyed it.
Caleb and I walked around and participated in some
of the activities.

We also had several den meetings.
We attended the graduation ceremonies where
Zachary moved up rank to Webelo II.
Congrats Zachary!
And Caleb moved up rank to Wolf.
On Cinco De Mayo we had a little party.
Diane, Al, Susan, Randy and their girls came over
for some Mexican food.
The four kids had a blast playing outside in the beautiful
78 degree weather.
Mike and I recently discovered Deep Sea Fishing.
We have been 3 times this month!
Thats Captain Lews boat that we go out on.
Its about 20 miles out, but surprisingly its
still fairly shallow at only 100 ft deep.
We fish in coral reefs. So far we have caught
Black Sea Bass, Grouper, Snapper, Cobia,
Striped Bass and a huge Ribbon fish.
One guy caught a 32lb bull nose dolphin
that took 30 min to reel in.
Caleb helped daddy clean and scale the fish.
My first cousin Logan Laine Freedle was born last month!
Isn't he a doll!?

Caleb and Zachary had 6 weeks of a Good Times class.
Its fun class to learn about the Bible.
Zachary has read the Childrens Bible twice,
now Caleb is reading it.
Wish we had our own swimming pool!
You may recall that for Zachary's birthday last year
we bought him a hamster. That first night the cats
ate him. So we finally got him a new pet.
2 actually. Guinea Pigs. He had them for 2 days.
On the 3rd day we said he could take them out
of the cage and play with them.
20 minutes later this is what Zachary looked like.
We had to give him benadryl for 2 days before the
swelling went completely away. The next day
the guinea pigs went back to the pet store.
The owner of Mikes company has a house in Daytona.
He flies from Maryland to here in his airplane.
This is as far as we will let our kids go in it.
Christina had a friend at her college that got a kitten.
He was going out of town so asked her to
watch him. After a week he decided to move
and couldn't take the cat with him, so asked us to keep him.
Meet Bugsy. (he is the same colors as Bugs Bunny)
He has brought Zeeb out of his funk.
They play constantly. The cat is very people
friendly and is always near us or Zeeb.
The boys are out of school on June 1st!
Yay Summer time!!!
We have lots of trips planned.
Starting June 5(happy birthday Bruce) with Pensacola for a week.
Mike and I found a bike trail near our house.
Its 20 miles of trail thru conservation areas.
No traffic!

We stopped along the way and checked out a
small creek. This has become a favorite thing to do,
My 2 friends Crystal, Yvette and I ran a 5K
the end of April. I finished in 32 min.
Caleb made me a present just for fun. He is so sweet.
On May 15th my brother Frank and Dave were in a
car accident on the highway.
Dave broke a vertebrae in his neck
and several ribs. Frank broke his ankle and wrist
on his left side. He had to have surgery on both
because the bones were shattered and need plates
and pins. They were wearing their seatbelts and
are alive because of that and airbags.
ALWAYS BUCKLE UP!!
They are at home recovering.
Dave had a as yet undetermined medical condition
and blacked out. They hit the guardrail on the
passenger side, flew across 4 lanes of highway
and hit the median wall. All at 75 mph.
They both work for Disney, so they have good benefits
thankfully that will help them get by.
I stayed with them the first week,
then on Tuesday Leonard flew in
to stay till this Tuesday. An hour before he flies out
mom will fly in and stay till the 7th.
Even tho the reason he is here sucks,
its been fun visiting with both of my brothers.

outdoor benches for my plants.

and has started competing in tournaments thru a club.
They are on regular full length courses.
Sometimes the parents play so they play as teams.
Or the parents compete against each other while
the kids compete amongst themselves.
He is the youngest competitor by a year and 4 months.
The first tournament he came in 3rd place.
He got a trophy.

It was the day before Mothers Day so they
got flowers to bring home.
Yesterday he had 2 back to back pars
got flowers to bring home.
and came in 1st at 5 strokes ahead.
Gold Medal!
Awesome job Caleb!!!
