Transformations

Boy Scouts is back in full swing.
Mike finished the Den Leader course, so he is an official
leader of Calebs Den 6 of Pack 931.
Now I need to get busy and put all his patches on his uniform.
Don't forget to order your popcorn!
Sorry Grumpa, I don't see peanut brittle either. :(
Our Oct is packed full! Boy Scout stuff every weekend!
We had parent teacher conferences 2 weeks ago.
Caleb has great grades. His lowest is an 89% in Social Studies.
His highest is a 99% in Math.
Zachary on the other hand, thought he was still on
summer vacation and wasn't doing his homework.
His grades would of been A's and B's if homework
wasn't counted, but since it is, he has D's and F's.
So we restructured our afternoon and evenings
to ensure that Zachary completes each and every piece
of homework. His teacher said yesterday that he has
100% improved. Which didn't surprise me, because we
all know Zachary is capable of doing the work, and
doing it well, but he has to DO it!!

Caleb is completely use to his braces now.
Its not totally apparent in this picture, but the
one tooth has actually moved forward already!
We are working on transforming our game room.
Mike bought a board, then he and the boys
sanded, cut, and stained it.
Next he will be hanging up shelves for his
shot glass collection, and getting new bar stools.
Caleb has golf tournaments most Saturdays now.
Last Saturday he came in 5th out of 11 kids.
Although he received a gold medal because he
is still the youngest player by a year, and the only
one in his age group.
This Saturday we are having a community garage sale.
I have been going thru the house looking for things to
get rid of. Most of it is baby and little kid stuff.
No more sippy cups, and little bowls and plates.
The boys have cleaned out their rooms of toys they
no longer play with.  Whatever doesn't sell,
will go to our local GoodWill store.
Its like spring cleaning, only in the fall.
Speaking of fall, Saturday is suppose to
bring temps of low 80's lasting throughout the week.
Yay! Fall is here! Finally!
